Pentothal.Z Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 Ok people, finally I managed to get a Crucial mx500 ssd so I cloned my old hdd on the new ssd using CCC. Then I installed clover 5058 on the new ssd and copied the EFI folder from the old hdd. The problem is that when I try to boot from the ssd I just get a blinking cursor. If I boot the system from my old hdd the system boots up but I would like to erase the old hdd and use it only as storage. Anyone able to help? Thanks in advance Send me Franks-iMac.zip

Pentothal.Z Posted August 28, 2019 Author Posted August 28, 2019 Thanks MaLd0n I did some disk benchmarks.......a bit disappointed I thought it would have been faster. Any Idea why? TRIM has been enabled via terminal. I get 247.8 MB/s write and 266.2 MB/s read......any idea why it's so slow?
