DSDT for HP 250 G6 i5 7200u

Hello, I succeeded to make Mojave run on this laptop : HP 250 g6 i5 7200u + HD620 gfx, by using someone's else's Clover folder because he had very similar machine ( he got i7, 8gb ram and standard SSD, while I got i5 standard hard drive and 4gb ram) I am quite lucky because almost everything works ok. But still got things not working well. So I was wondering if you could make the appropriate files for this machine please ?

ok great ! so I can test ElCap, Sierra, HSierra too ! thx.

Battery works fine, Bluetooth suddenly appeared and working (though its intel chip), Screen brightness controls, touchpad, graphics, USB3 ports, sleep ( almost -> actually small bug when my 2nd drive is attached : it comes back from sleep but very long time after pressing many keys, spacebar, powerButton etc.. after 30/45 secs awakes ! while instant wake up when 2nd drive is not plugged)

After some reboot seems that sleep is working fine in the end, I can close lid and it sleeps and when I open lid it comes back after pressing any key in 2-3 secs!

So thank you very much for fixing /tuning this notebook into nice MacOs laptop

iii. With Notepad++, open the resultant c:\dsdt\dsdt-modified.dsl file and search for ResourceProducer. Beneath it will be a series of “DWordMemory” resource entries. Under the last DWordMemory entry in that area, typically above the _CRS method, add a ‘QWordMemory’ (64-bit) entry as shown in red below. The range chosen is in the 36-bit range (< 64GB) to maintain compatibility with PAE-capable 32-bit Windows. A location above 48GB was chosen to alleviate issues with 32GB equipped systems. Here we use between 48.5GB to 56.25GB. Once systems start shipping with 64GB of RAM, this will need to be revised to use a 64-bit address.

I am just about to try your efi on my HP 250 G6 i3 7020u 4gb ram and a ssd (I fitted) will let you know how it goes as I have been stuck on high sierra for ages. I suppose now the next os is coming out that will be the next challenge...

Sorry I still have a lot to learn, before I just copied over a efi folder for my probook with high Sierra but noticed this is a dsdt file?

Do you have and do I need the efi folders for this?

I managed to get working using the default clover folder with audio working but graphics and other stuff bad so I copied your efi files from your send me zip (I realised this contained this) but now my audio does not work? I have attached my Send me file created by the run app.

Thanks for the reply, for some reason I managed to get it all working with a mixture of the efi files including brightness but with your dsdt the brightness was no longer working? Just wondered if I am missing something as I would rather use your dsdt if thats better and that can be fixed easily?

Like I say sorry I don't know the difference between using dsdt and just having a efi folder as I always had a efi folder before...

with my dsdt u don't need ssdt pnlf, just need check a brightness keys and fix it

I can make my machine now run Mojave fine by using your method Orilla Clover folder for my EFI, graphics patch that you have and the dsdt you provided so thank you for that.

I have now installed Catalina and thought it would be as simple as doing the same but it will not even boot and stops with a ACPI error?

Below I did the run me app but this is from booting with the Catalina usb if that makers any difference to that?

I have now managed to find the fix for Catalina to work you need to download a file called SSDT-EC.AML this file to put into clover folder /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched

You can then use your Mojave EFI folder 

This has not been mentioned on here so thought I would let anyone with this laptop know

 I just have to drag the files and paste it in my clover vanilla from the boot usb? 
..... I would appreciate if you could tell me step by step how to mount this efi
