[SOLVED] ALC255 (DELL)

Hi guys I would like to share and thank you Olarila to help me.

ALC255

if you have this chipset, you may have scratched your head as it used to work well on High Sierra (I used HDApatcher 1.8 then install AppleHDA and patch AppleHDa in Clover then changed inject Audio to 3)

BUT!!!! in MOjave

here are what I did.

1. AppleHDA (I assume you have in S/L/E)

2. Go to Clover Configurative >Device > Properties (No inject Audio this time , just change Detect)

PciRoot(0)/Pci(0x1f,3)

Properties (type)

Properties key Properties value Value type

layout-id 17 NUMBER

3. Install Whatevergreen , LILu and AppleALC (using Kext Utility OR Hackintool) into (L/E)

4. Restart

Vola ! you can listen to music!

** if you have Apple HDA patched in your Clover >Kernel and Kext Patches , Disable them or remove!
