rtga Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 I am currently running 10.14.5 beta. It was the first time I had been on any Beta version of MacOS but I needed it to support the SMBIOS (imac19,1) that I'm running. Does anyone know the proper procedure to update to 10.14.5 release from 10.14.5 beta? I just tried the system update and it appears that I'm still on the Beta. When it shut down, it came back and tried to run the Mojave install pre-boot. I let that happen and it just seems to have gotten stuck. Then I reset it and tried Mojave Install selection on Clover. Same thing. thanks for any assistance.

rtga Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 [ref]rtga[/ref], just update, updates is like one fresh install, need select macosinstall after first reboot Thanks, I had done that but I guess I didn't wait long enough when it seemed to freeze up at the apple screen with some pixel distortion at the top of the screen. This time I let it sit for awhile and it finally changed screens and showed an update progress bar.
