Which macOS for Intel M3 7Y30?

Hello. I found this site because I was banned on tonycrapx86 because I mentioned the words "torrent" and "download" in one post. Hope it is OK here.

I am searching for some macOS version working fine with my Teclast F6 Pro ultrabook, it has quite similar specs to some macbook Retina 2017, so I hope some build would work fine for me too.

I tried some generic images, it worked, but I think I had not installed the correct video and audio drivers and also the network was quite slow.

I am using 2 nano USB wifi adapters, Edimax 7811un and TP-Link Archer T1U AC450. None of them is fast and stable.

I tried Olarila and Niresh images, but those does not even boot (some kernel panic).

So, which one should I try?

You mean photo of a laptop? Here is it.

I am not sure if I have native support, just checked that macBooks specs and found out that

* macBook Retina 2017 has Core m3-7Y32 with Intel 615 GPU

* my Chinese laptop has Core m3-7Y30 with Intel 615 GPU

maybe the problem with booting was because I did not know that I have to set config2 when booting?

Okay, so using config2.plist it boots fine and installs too. Now just to install clover. I always had problems with that. Installed default Clover, but it does not show when booting. I know I have to copy those files for my MB, just mounting EFI partition seems to be a little tricky.

Yes, I am using this guide :)

Just doing step "Replace Clover folder with Olarila Clover folder" and I am not sure what exactly it means. How to simply mount EFI partition? I see that I only have to use some command line tool like in Linux, right?

[ref]Wizzard[/ref], in Olarila usb stick there is a folder called "Files". Find the app called ESP mounter app to mount EFI partition. Mount both EFI partitions of SSD/HDD and Olarila installer USB stick, copy clover folder from usb stick and override the clover folder in SSD/HDD.

Obviously, you will need to install clover in SSD/HDD beforehand. ;)

Ok, sorry for being dumb, but I am quite new to EFI, just upgraded my computer a few months ago.

So, I installed Clover a few times, always chose the MacOS drive for installation. After reboot I still see my GRUB bootloader. In BIOS, I do not see Clover drive to choose for boot, just Ubuntu and Windows.

I copied the files from EFI on USB to EFI on SSD. What did I do wrong?

Teclast f6 pro work with Mojave?

Yes, of course, it runs fine, no wonder, it has almost the same hardware as macBook Retina 2017. Finally I am able to boot it from GRUB with Clover.

It seems that graphics works fine, just have the problems with the sound, wifi adapter and battery stats. Still learning how to install the things :) Especially my TP-Link T1U V1 wifi adapter has the issues. I can see the wifi networks, but does not connect.

Okay, my TP-Link T1U wifi adapter finally works, after reinstall.

Is there any simpler method to install audio, when I know that I have ALC267?

Okay, I think I am starting to understand that. So it seems that I have ALC269 audio, but I am not sure what do I have to inject. I tried numbers 1, 3, 11 and Detect and audio does not seem to work, I see no output device in audio settings. I also added Rename HDAS to HDEF line.

Ok, so if I understand it, I also need to download one of those (or all) files above? Not only edit my config.plist? And where to put those xml files from ALC269?

Ok, so finally I made the sound working, even more than 1 layout works for my device. Maybe this will help someone with Teclast F6 Pro, this is the list of layouts that worked for me:

layout8.xml - internal speakers
layout10.xml - headphones, digital out
layout14.xml - internal speakers
layout17.xml - headphones
layout18.xml - internal speakers
layout20.xml - internal speakers
layout28.xml - internal speakers
layout29.xml - internal speakers
layout30.xml - internal speakers, digital out
layout32.xml - internal speakers
layout33.xml - internal speakers
layout35.xml - internal speakers
layout40.xml - internal speakers
layout44.xml - internal speakers
layout55.xml - internal speakers, line in
layout58.xml - internal speakers
