platinumsteel Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Well i know If i get an amd RX Series or higher I will be able to achieve under 20sec in Bruce X 5k...I am also aware FCPX supports OpenCL and AMD cards are better at it....I have already added it to my cart.Looking to purchase soon anyway..Prices are going down...But was just wondering if there are any lucky Hackintoshers out there that may have been able to achieve that level of performance in that particular Benchmark...Anyone with similar specs as mine were able to achieve this with some miracle setting or anything.I realise that with amd cards FCPX utilizes the GPU a lot more than Nvidia cards during the Test in Activity Monitor...I am aware it might not be relavent but just throwing it out there.....Would really appreciate it if u all share any info...thanks...

platinumsteel Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 Yes it was well done...It was you who actually did it for me late last year...Not a single problem since..Everything is stable..I just thought i could of squeeze some more performance out of my nvidia GPU before I purchase an AMD RX card in a 2 weeks..But thanks for the help..I appreciate it.
