How speed up booting of MacOs Mojave?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Good morning Everyone,

following your awesome guides and with your files, I have installed successfully MacOs Mojave on my HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF Business desktop PC equipped with Intel i7 3770 CPU 3.40 Ghz and Intel HD 4000 GPU.

At the end of the procedure when the MacOs boot itself from the HDD I noticed that the boot is slow compared to other hackintosh boot (that have different initial Clover screen) that I saw on Youtube because the boot show dozens of debug messages on screen.

There is a way to speed up this boot procedure or change Clover type?

Thank you in advance for replies.

Alex

I cannot extract new send me because with this new clover folder replaced in EFI, in the boot menu, as you can see, there is not the option to boot from MacOs Mojave.

I have the USB installation pendrive to boot from and replace the EFI partition with the previous clover folder, let me know.

Now boot MacOs ok with your clover folder and the bootloader screen has changed. New send me attached.

May I uncheck the "Verbose" option in section boot with clover configurator in config.plist that is in EFI partition?

What is the "fast" option in the right panel in section boot of clover configurator?

At the end of process there is a question of the SSDT_Automator:

- do you want to open the ssdt.dsl (y/n): I answered No, I hope my answer is right.

After that, the SSDT_Automator say to disable the C & P states, if enabled, on the config.plist

In which section of the config.plist opened with clover configurator is this C & P states?

I put the ssdt.aml in efi/clover/acpi/patched .I noticed that in this path there is another file called DSDT.aml

After reboot of MacOs seems that the hardware video acceleration of the GPU Intel HD4000 is working steadily.

I tried these three options in config.plist in Efi/clover opened with Clover Configurator section Graphics (doing file > save) and none of these works in my MacOs, GPU hardware acceleration always off.

I try to re-install the MacOs Mojave from scratch because at the beginning the HD4000 GPU worked. Thank you for the suggestion of the video card but I'm not interested to buy for the moment. The intel HD4000 works great with my WIndows 10 installed in the other HDD of the computer.
