rdgs2016 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 I'm at my wit's end. Bought two RX590s but the 590 does not work in my ancient EVGA X58 SLI (132-BL-E758) board. It will post and boot in Windows using the default MS VGA driver, but once the Radeon drivers are installed the screen goes black and it will no longer post. With Mac OS I can get into Clover and load either Mojave and HIgh Sierra but when the progress bar hits 70-75%, the screen goes black, just like with Windows. Question: Is anyone running a fairly recent Radeon GPU under Legacy BIOS conditions that I may be able to exchange this RX590 for? I so, please reply with your brand and model number. Thanks! BTW: GPU Tech support at ASUS MSI, and Gigabyte were of no help whatsoever since my MB was not their brand.
