djsova Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Here's my setup; SSD #1 - Mojave SSD #2 - Win 10 SSD #3 - random files, APFS formatted SSD #4 - random files, NTFS formatted All drives were new when installing, OSX was installed first. I figured I won't need SSD 3 in Mojave anymore, so while in Mojave I formatted it to FAT32 and restarted the comp. Clover screen now shows only Mac icon in boot options, no more Windows option. I logged into Mojave, Clover configurator, mounted the OSX partition and checked the EFI folder - there's APPLE, BOOT and CLOVER folders there. I think Microsoft is missing - my question is why and how do I restore the option to boot into Windows, I really don't want to format or reinstall anything - please tell me it's possible to fix this

djsova Posted January 15, 2019 Author Posted January 15, 2019 Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to fix this without reinstalling anything - is it possible? How can I get the Windows option back in Clover?
erroruser Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 [ref]djsova[/ref], might be a best thing to reinstall an windows should be picked up in clover automatically as the best option to choose to boot in to windows is to select boot efi from efi if you have multiple entries an would like to remove from the boot options follow this guide https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=7451#p66199 AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus, Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB DDR4 3200MHz, Sapphire rx 5700 XT, fractal celcius s36 HP Notebook - 15-ay028ca (Touch), 16 GB 2133 MHz DDR4, Intel HD Graphics 520 1536 MB Asus z97-c i5, i5 4460, 32 GB 1648 MHz DDR3, Radeon RX 560 4096 MB, Corsair H75 Liquid CPU Cooler
djsova Posted January 15, 2019 Author Posted January 15, 2019 Oh dammit, I really wanted to avoid reinstall :/ would it be possible to fix this by copying files from C:Windows/Boot/EFI folder to Clover's EFI partition folder?
erroruser Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 there is that chance to have it repaired being on a separate drive if no success have to reinstall unfortunately AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus, Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB DDR4 3200MHz, Sapphire rx 5700 XT, fractal celcius s36 HP Notebook - 15-ay028ca (Touch), 16 GB 2133 MHz DDR4, Intel HD Graphics 520 1536 MB Asus z97-c i5, i5 4460, 32 GB 1648 MHz DDR3, Radeon RX 560 4096 MB, Corsair H75 Liquid CPU Cooler
