artx.kras Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 You did not patch for GPI0 controller. Check in BIOS if you can set trackpad to Advance mode. Added in 4 minutes 49 seconds: Remove VoodooI2CHID kext and use VoodooI2CSYNA kext. Set your device name in VoodooI2CSYNA info.plist like in the screenshot https://imgur.com/undefined Added in 12 minutes 55 seconds: Use only VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CELAN kext. DSDT.aml.zip Reboot and extract new sendme. it works! Made changes as in your DSDT, and added a GPIO pin 3F, left VoodooI2C.kext, VoodooI2CELAN.kext, VoodooPS2Controller.kext from VoodooPS2Controller.kext removed VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext and VoodooPS2Mouse.kext Now TrackPad works with all standard gestures! Thank you very much for your help, I tried to set it up for 6 months! https://drive.google.com/file/d/18Ic6W2-8ATWgJgXebIs3r7WJDCtEU89D/view?usp=sharing

aryaone Posted December 6, 2019 Posted December 6, 2019 [ref]onemanosx[/ref], i tried to patch my DSDT as per your tutorial to make my i2c work, but when i try to follow your guide and delete the following: In this case, rename SBFI to SBFB and remove the following from it: CODE: SELECT ALL Interrupt (ResourceConsumer, Level, ActiveLow, Exclusive, ,, ) { 0x0000006D, } my trackpad still not detected (my APIC PIN is 47, so i think i dont need to pin it manually) please help me, here is my send_me file, and the patched dsdt.dsl https://drive.google.com/file/d/1n0yXgtKBPiNuSXBRNBz-StZUdi3JfKQN/view?usp=sharing DSDT.dsl.zip
onemanosx Posted December 6, 2019 Author Posted December 6, 2019 [ref]aryaone[/ref], Use VoodooI2C + VoodooI2CELAN kexts. You are correct, APIC PIN less than or equals to 47 requires no manual pinning. [ref]onemanosx[/ref], i tried to use voodooi2c and voodooi2cELAN, but the trackpad is still not work, what i wondering is that my steps on patching is wrong or right? i follow your guide like this : 1. my original DSDT on i2c like this : Method (_CRS, 0, Serialized) // _CRS: Current Resource Settings { Name (SBFI, ResourceTemplate () { I2cSerialBusV2 (0x0015, ControllerInitiated, 0x00061A80, AddressingMode7Bit, "\\_SB.PCI0.I2C1", 0x00, ResourceConsumer, , Exclusive, ) Interrupt (ResourceConsumer, Level, ActiveLow, Exclusive, ,, _Y21) { 0x00000027, } }) If (LEqual (GR13, One)) { CreateByteField (SBFI, \_SB.PCI0.I2C1.ETPD._CRS._Y21._INT, VAL3) // _INT: Interrupts Store (0x1B, VAL3) If (LEqual (S0ID, Zero)) { CreateByteField (SBFI, 0x24, VAL4) And (VAL4, 0xE7, VAL4) } } Return (SBFI) } } } 2. i follow your guide and delete line start from interrupt, and rename SBFI to SBFB, so my DSDT become like this : Method (_CRS, 0, Serialized) // _CRS: Current Resource Settings { Name (SBFB, ResourceTemplate () { I2cSerialBusV2 (0x0015, ControllerInitiated, 0x00061A80, AddressingMode7Bit, "\\_SB.PCI0.I2C1", 0x00, ResourceConsumer, , Exclusive, ) }) Return (SBFB) } } } the question is, am i right? or what went wrong?
