Morning guys,

I'm not one for asking for help, but this time I'm needing the skills of someone to get my Trackpad and Keyboard up and running.

I have a Probook 440 G5 using OC 0.6.1 i5 8th Gen KBL, I have everything else working, Bluetooth, wifi etc etc, just can't get this bloody thing up and running.

After I managed to get battery stats working, the keyboard and trackpad failed to work, so not sure if it is to do with that??If I use VoodooI2C kext or VoodooPS2 kexts, my machine fails to load :(

I've looked through this thread and tried the pinning and still not working, worse thing is I know the trackpad is supported!!!I'm so near, but yet so far :(

If someone could kindly take a look at this to see where I've gone wrong, that would be smashing :)

many thanks in advance ;)

I have used the patched DSDT but sadly it doesn't go past

AppleIntelpssI2CController-1 : :_notificationPublishedHandler: getChannelNumber failed

AppleIntelpssI2CController-1 : :_notificationPublishedHandler: getChannelNumber failed

I feel like throwing the thing out of the window, but then I wouldn't have anything to tinker with :D:D:D

If there is anything else you can do, it's greatly appreciated :)

Sorry sir I'm just a noob, what do you mean need a good folder? About that use only ec0 to ec, does it mean I will disable the others in DSDT patches in clover? and where is _sta rtc fix in ACPI, I only see Fix RTC checkbox.

Hi Mald0n,

I've added in the EC patch but still freezing upon trying to boot, I have linked my EFI:- https://filebin.net/ewrmf65bblm754cl

Would you kindly take a look at this for me to make sure I have everything right?I haven't added in the patched DSDT you sent me, I have put one prior to being patched.I'm pulling my hair out :D:D:D

Hi MAld0n,

I've still been trying to get this trackpad and keyboard to work without success, did you get a chance to have a look at my config at all?

O procedimento seria só substituir o config.plist e colocar o DSDT na EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched né? Infelizmente tentei aqui mas não foi ?

Hi guys!

I migrated from Clover to OpenCore with a clean MacOS install and now the trackpad isn't working anymore.

During the install I used the pre-build Dortania SSDT-XOSI, which worked fine. After the install I replaced SSDT-XOSI with a manually made SSDT-GPIO as the guide suggested. After this the trackpad still worked so I started using a mouse, now the trackpad doesn't work anymore and I can't figure out why. I tried reverting back to XOSI, tried to remove other SSDT's and kexts that I added since it stopped working but nothing seems to solve it.

I've attached IOReg from Clover with the working trackpad and an IOreg + full EFI of my current OpenCore config. I've spent hours trying to find the problem any help would be highly appreciated!!

Files: EFI & IOreg

System-specs: Asus Vivobook N580VD

Haha is it such a mess!? :D

There might be some experimental or unused stuff in there because I'm also trying to fix sleep.

New Sendme:

Edit: I just realise I had to probably remove all other SSDT's. I'll do that and make a new sendme when I get home. Trackpad is working again, but it isn't showing up in settings.
