rkdus Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I just did the the patch and I havent tested it on my laptop yet. but I do have a question. I saw some patches for the specified laptops, some for just a part which causes the kernel conflict, and they are *.txt files. For my laptop, which is not listed on the Patches section, All I need is just apply many patches as I need? (because of the specified laptop/motherboard just need to be done ONE time) Correct me if im wrong. Ricky
Cassio Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 The patches in http://Olarila.com/forum/packs.php are organized by motherboard, one txt has all the needed patches. The ones in http://Olarila.com/forum/patches.php are generic patches, you have to test and find out which ones you need. The link in my previous reply is a basic guide about that. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
rkdus Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I havent applied the dsdt but I got this hanging msg. What do I need to patch? Got it working on the 2nd shot but still. I got kernel conflict
Cassio Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Looks like a problem with kexts, not with DSDT. IOUSBFamily 9.9.9 isn't latest Lion version, the correct is 4.5.8.

I tried to install the MultiB3ast with Easyb3ast option, but its just hanging on this one... with -v option. I tried with -x -v option too but the problem still there (hanging but not the same as this one. What should I do? I guess that AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement causes this hanging problem then?

Cassio Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Which kexts? If you are patching DSDT you probably don't need to patch kexts.
