Hi,

I'm having problems using a same generation motherboard as the one of this guide.

I have a Gigabyte B360N WiFi with an i3-8100.

I want to use iGPU.

SMBIOS 18,1.

Problems related to iGPU in Mohave.

On High Sierra on this motherboard you have the frame buffet issue that is somehow solved with 3 KextToPatch entries.

But in the end you get acceleration in High Sierra.

I was hoping your guide would help but it doesn't.

I did some testing to try and find out the setting but I'm unable to get acceleration working.

Basically you load the OS only on 59120000 but with no acceleration.

Any help is woelcome.

Hi,in my cases have uncheck inject-intel to get uhd630 work.

Sure.

I used 18.1 smbios.

When i check inject intel ,after boot my display has disconnected.

I uncheck inject intel ,my display works.

I connected using DP.

i couldn't do it without your guide.

And somethings i want to share : I can not boot after update bios with lasted version.I thought this is a bug of MSI mainboard because I have seen this when i use MSI b360m mortar . They show same message and can not boot.

[ref]duyseo[/ref], thats funny. I updated bios and still bootable. But, the new acpi tables cannot be extracted properly. In any case, the bios update has no major impact and no need to be alarmed

Update: Installed M.2 as System Drive

So, I got myself a rather good deal on an M.2 SSD the past week and the mailman finally delivered the package to my doorstep. Wasted no time to install the 512GB ssd and cloned over using CCC (need I mention a fast clone process? )

Rebooted and Trim function is native i.e no need for patch. I am a happy man!

This is not the first M.2 ssd I bought off Aliexpress by the way. The first one I bought and installed it on my laptop is very much alive.

Anyone with the same cpu spec (or not) and using NVME may share their benchmark and are welcomed to do so for comparative purpose.

this looks like great info, however, its all over my head. on my Z390, usb works, except my usb 3 devices show up as usb 2. I tried using the DSDT I got from Maldon, but on boot, none of my USB ports worked at all, lol.

I have MSI PRO VH mobo and installed High Sierra using your guide, and almost everything works fine. I have problems with sleep only. Used your USB kext, and it also seems to work

Don't know why I couldn't install Mojave (Panic 2 minutes before end of installation). If you have any ideas what could be the problem please let me know.
