stefjefry Posted September 16, 2018 Share Posted September 16, 2018 Here is a strange think never seen before. My laptop has 3 USB ports (one USB3 and 2 USB2 , I connect my mouse on one usb2 port). When I connect a usb3 flash drive to usb3 port all is good. If I connect a usb3 flash drive to usb2 ports , finder shows the drive but it doesn't show at desktop. Same happens when I connect a usb2 flash drive. At usb3 port it is shown on desktop , at usb2 ports it doesn't show. Can you help ? EDIT : Tried all external USB ports with usb3 / usb2 flash drives and here are the results. EH01. HP12 right usb2 (connected with usb mouse) HP13 left usb2 HP15 camera HP16 bluetooth HP14 , HP17. empty XHC@14 SSP1/HS01 right usb3 US02 to HS08 and SSP1to P4 empty Macbook Pro Dell.ioreg.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
