Hi guys,

I have finished my first build. I have built it specifically for FCPX and went for a Gigabyte RX580 GPU. It seems to be working OOB and comes up in about this Mac, however, I did the bruceX test and rather than a time of 10-20secs, mine came out at 1min20.

Why is this so slow? I am using a Samsung EVO SSD with read/write speeds showing 300-400mbps and the Blackmagic test says the disk speeds should handle 4k 50p raw cinema footage. Is there anyway of checking if the GPU is working? I have a project on a FCPX timeline and its 12mins long and still hasn't finished rendering even after 45mins... surely this can't be the what the great rx580 8gb card does??? My GTX 980 in my other hack would render this way quicker!

Any ideas?

Thanks
