Hackintosh Guide - Disable Discrete Graphic Card - Notebook - Nvidia or AMD

Got stucked here [iGPU] Scheduler Throttle Cap = 100ms...then need to force shutdown, inject fake id 0x16268086 so I can boot, then got a dim display with properly loaded graphics. But after restarts still the same :?

u add 0x16268086 in config.plist tab devices?

 

No.. I added from boot options> graphic injector. Fake ID. By the way I boot on safe mode using the config plist you sent, with valid id 0x16260006, graphics are perfectly loaded, but also dark display

Finally!!! :guitar Got my graphics working perfectly proper brightness...thanks to you Maldon...Now if this is not so much to ask, do you have guide how to fix not working trackpad? :mrgreen:

HDMI u need check patch in config.plist


brightness kets u need a debug kext and apply a correct dsdt patch


wifi, need check model, intel don't work

install debug.kext in l/e, reboot, press key down brightness and run in terminal, log show | grep -i acpidebug, after, press up key and run again, check what keys u need patch

Hi Maldon, is it okay to discuss here regarding mapping of brightness keys? Really appreciating your help so much, but I need more understanding about it, like how to determine what keys I need to patch and ho to execute it? I have done what you instructed but I can't figure it out :wallbash

attached is the output from terminal, where can I see the log files?

this is what I've done

1.Install acpi debug kext > reboot

2.Run repair permission > reboot

3. Press down brightness key (Fn+left arrow) >log show | grep -i acpidebug, then

4 Press up brightness key (Fn+right arrow) >log show | grep -i acpidebug, and the result is from the attached file.
