I don't really understand what to do at first.

Recommended Posts

I really don't understand the thing with DSDT. I read that it is the principal BIOS table, but, what should I do at first? Where can I find a DSDT patch? I saw that people on the DSDT subforum already have DSDT patches that they want to fix. I don't even know how to get one at first. On RehabMan's GIthub I saw that, quote:

These patches are common for Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge laptops.
Mine is a Broadwell one. Also, I can't find my laptop on his Github. What should I do?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I am trying to hackintosh an Yoga 12, the i3-5005u 500GB SSHD version. It doesn't have a dedicated gpu, the iGPU is Intel's HD 5500.

Ok, I've read that on another topic, I did a little bit of research before. The thing is that I don't know where to start, where should I begin with the DSDT?
