odwoh Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 I have a patched dsdt for my desktop GA-P55-USB3 and its working well. My Acer 5742 laptop has integrated Intel Graphics and when I extracted it's DSDT it looks a lot different from the desktops. It does have an AZAL (sound) for example but even there the code looks different from same in desktop. I do have the lappie running Lion but doing only 1024x768. From what I've read/determined in other forums a framebuffer kext is needed to fix this but I would like to use the DSDT for sound and Lan and possibly the built in wifi(using an USB wifi right now). The only wifi I know which works only with DSDT patch and original Atheros kext is the AR9285. Post your hardware details (audio codec, lan and wifi).
