[ref]broadw3ll[/ref], As means of troubleshooting, please read the documentation on satellite kext. This is as important on user end to test different kext configuration aside from DSDT patching.

Also, it helps to rebuild permissions and cache and reboot 2nd time.

Hi MaLd0n it works but partially... now i can use it after i login but it just stop working a moment after that i have already change de satellite kext as you say. idk what's happening now hahah... thanx for all

Do I change the version? Or I put two satellites? Elan and CHID.kext? I have tried that before and it stops working also if I use only child and i2c next

I think it is more correct to use I2c kext together with either hid or elan. Not all 3.

after i use the voodoo i2c kext v2.0.2 as onemanosx say the touchpad stops working even if i use again the initial 2.1.4 version... im using the last .aml that MaLdon makes me the favor of send it to me idk what's the problem now here is again mi send_me file i have only one satellite kext as yo said, onemanosx thanx for all my friends

the touchpad now works fine, but the battery indicator isn't showed in the bar, and i try the brightness patch that @MaLd0n suggest but i think it only works in intel graphics as my laptop its only nvidia i try to follow this guide: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/323010-please-help-me-fix-brightness-control-nvidia-graphics-only-laptop/ ... in that guide mention than i need to do this -"fist find the _DSM method for your Graphics card, ignore any devices that are on PCI0 ie: PCI0.GFX0 your looking for graphics cards Under PCI0.PEG0

ie: PCI0.PEG0.GFX0._DSM or PCI0.PEG0.PEGP._DSM

rename the _DSM Method to XDSM and insert this Below"-

but i can't find the graphic card so i don't now where insert that patches... any help would be appreciated thanx pals

Yes it is "PCI0.PEG0.PEGP" but i can't find were i have to apply that patch. Thanx for the patch but the brightness or the battery indicator still doesnt work... thanx for the help my friend

You still need to use injector kext as per the guide you posted.

Edit: You probably need to rename GFX0 to IGPU, too.

hi onemanosx, i have patched the kext an installed with the injector in S/L/E also applied the patch in the config plist as you said... but it still didn't working the brightness idk what to do now any idea my friend ? as always thanx a lot for all the help

If you upload run me files, at least I can help to see if there is anything strange. Anyway, I advise not to install kext in S/L/E. Have you also rebuild permissions/cache and reboot?

I am also interested to know how you eventually solved your i2c trackpad?

Yes I have rebuild the permissions & cache, also I have changed the kext to the clover folder. I'm gonna attach my run me files.

Also if u can check why I can't make my battery status work because I have follow some guides & use acpibatterymanager kext but nothing...

I have solved my trackpad with the kext that I'm gonna attach with the name "solution" & the patch that MaLd0n makes me, it works but it doesn't show any trackpad settings in system preferences or have scroll funtion any way it work the "tap" to click with it...

Brightness Slider - Kext is injecting properly as seen in IOreg. In fact, you had injected both methods of injecting PNLF as seen here. However, I am unfamiliar with Nvidia graphics.

 

 

USB - You'll need to implement USB port limit to get your USB 3.0 ports working. Right now, you are limited to USB 2.0 speed only.

 

 

I2C trackpad - Trackpad is not fully functional. I see you tried voodooI2CElan. Have you tried voodooI2CHID?
