after 10.15.4?

still can't sign out of iCloud, even offline.

removed this computer from my iCloud and signed back in when it asked for my password even though it didn't offer a sign in button, still having the same issue.

looking into clearing iCloud from my hack, but here's a run me. maybe you will see the problem in there?

can't send or receive iMessages, App Store goes to not responding.

Booted from a clover usb and App Store works fine, updated to the latest OpenCore and it wouldn't boot.

definitely a OpenCore issue.

System: Gigabyte H97-HD3, i5 4690, Radeon Rx 580, Mac compatible Wifi/BT PCI.

Been running Hackintosh for a long time. Needed to buy a new SSD as the old one is aging so did an Oralila install using the guide.

Happy to say everything went well using the default setting including the standard Clover.plist from here.

As everything is at default, I think it is using AppleALC/Lilu with the device hardware detect set at 1 (Realtek ALC887 sound chip) motherboard front headphone jack works. Have not tried the back sound ports becasue I have been using the Audioengine D1 USB DAC for the last 6-7 years since my first Hackintosh! This DAC has a headphone jack as well which obviously works and sounds better.

However, with this setup, I cannot get the PCI Toslink/SPDIF (This is on a riser card) to work although a "digital out" is detected. This is not too critical but the main issue I have is the more frequent "pop" sounds from the USB sound. This is just annoying as it is unpredictable especially when multitasking. In my previous Mojave setup (using Oralila's method), the SPDIF works only with VoodooHDA installed and there was hardly any pop sounds. I think it is the same issue here.

Has anyone solved these 2 problems - working SPDIF and pop sounds using the AppleALC? I have tried all the device ID recommended for the ALC887 but only 1 and 7 reflect my hardware.

Somehow VoodooHDA has some special sauce in it. Should I use this instead of AppleALC/Lilu? Pro and cons?

BTW, if I remember correctly in my previosu Mojave setup, I left the AppleALC/Lilu in place and simply installed VoodooHDA and straight away the SPDIF/Optical was detected. No need to uninstall AppleALC/Lilu?

Thanks.

Hi MaLd0n!!

I just installed OS X Catalina 10.15.4.

My system is:

Mobo: Gigabyte Z370 HD3P

Processor: Intel Core i7 8700

Graphics Card: nVidia Geforce GTX 970

Since my card is not supported, I'm getting 7mb of graphics memory. I have 2 monitors connected to GTX 970, 1st slot by DisplayPort (the one is working and using right now) and 2nd slot by HDMI (not working at all).

I know GTX 970 is not supported on Catalina, but I have Intel HD Graphics on my processor, so I was wondering if I can disable nVidia graphic processor and activate Intel processor.

Is this something related with DSDT? I did some research but conclusions weren't too clear for me. Could you help me pls?

My goal is to build a system to use Xcode and some other software to develop Web and Native apps. Could I work with this machine?

I attach my Send me file here:

Thanks for your help as always!!

Szia Mald0n!

enable intelhd with hackintool

Hi MaLd0n:

I builded this code with hackintool trying to enable intelhd, but I think I did wrong:

<key>Properties</key>
		<dict>
			<key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)</key>
			<dict>
				<key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key>
				<data>BwCbPg==</data>
				<key>AAPL,slot-name</key>
				<string>Internal@0,2,0</string>
				<key>device-id</key>
				<data>kj4AAA==</data>
				<key>device_type</key>
				<string>Display controller</string>
				<key>framebuffer-con0-enable</key>

				<string>onboard-1</string>
				<key>model</key>
				<string>Intel UHD Graphics 630 (Desktop)</string>
			</dict>
		</dict>

If I use the DSDT.aml you provide me before there are multiple glitches and when I don't put it on the ACPI, I open any app which needs hardware acceleration (Chrome or Spotify for example) or even a website like mediafire and my system reboots.

Also the Graphics section on About this Mac is empty, I attached a screenshot on the Send_me file.

Can you help me please?

Hi [ref]MaLd0n[ref]

I read the WhateverGreen FAQ and followed the steps, but it didn't work on my machine.

I used the EFI folder you provide me and I updated the WhateverGreen.kext and Lilu.kext. After that Iput away the DSDT.aml from the patched folder because I couldn't make the system work correctly.

After I removed the DSDT.aml from the patched folder, I configured my config.plist with some modifications and now it seems to work as expected, except for one little but weird thing.

On Chrome, there's a weird glitch with the icons when I mouse over them. I attach some screenshots above.

Although the Graphics section on About this Mac is showing the correct information:

Do you know what's happening? How can I fix it?

Also, do I need an additional DSDT? Could you help me with that?

I attach the Send_me file so you can see my EFI.

I've tested with iMac19,2 and iMac18,1. Same result.

With the last DSDT.aml the problem gets worst:

What does the DSDT do?

[ref]MaLd0n[ref] same result but without verbose boot log.

Also I need to unplug and plug my monitors so the system can recognise them and provide video to them, otherwise there is no signal.

What is the DSDT.aml doing? What fixes?

Thanks!!!
