dealsxster Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Hi Mald0n so with the modified dsdt you attached, should i attempt a fresh install using AsSrock RX 570 card?. sorry unclear on next step. I read the post you linked and didn't see RX570 mention. Thanks.
Administrators MaLd0n Posted April 28, 2019 Author Administrators Posted April 28, 2019 [ref]dealsxster[/ref], rx570 is native, just use whatevergreen for some fixs -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
dealsxster Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 no luck after new install utilizing above dsdt same second stage flash/black screen on preboot etc. also added the dsdt.aml to existing IGD 630 install that works otherwise but exact same results when using rx 570. whatevergreen is already there.

dealsxster Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 its ASRock rx 570 8gb. the issue is very common (second stage flash/black screen on install and boot), and I am trying all suggestions one by one that people have tried before
Administrators MaLd0n Posted April 29, 2019 Author Administrators Posted April 29, 2019 [ref]dealsxster[/ref], the flash is common in all rx, vega, etc not a problem, just ignore -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
dealsxster Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 I see what you are saying Mald0n, my problem is screen is black after flash no osx no display, I reboot after waiting 15-20 minutes and same thing "stuck at black screen again". I am guessing my problem is different or I am doing something wrong in my plist or command line parameters. I will try GraphicsEnabler=Yes IGPEnabler=No and see if it makes it different. The only way it works is if I only enable IGPU and use hdmi on IGPU. I am doing something stupid. If you have a moment can you please check my plist. config.plist.zip

Let's hope it remains stable while enabled. What do you recommend as further test to make sure all is ok. Can i run any health diagnostics etc. is there a report/log somewhere that captures issues?
