denisgrusz Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Hi, MaLd0n ... I just build my first hackintosh, and with your help, and great tutorial it went smoothly ... for w while System is now booting. I create clover partition on ssd, and replace with yours clover folder (x299). System work fine, but few things don't work ... for this time I notice - USB 3.0, WIFI (info: there is no wifi card install), Bluetooth (Not available), sleep mode don't work property (I can't wake up computer), USB-C not working(this is very important, because I have to plug-in wacom tablet), my sound card on USB generate some crackling in the speakers (maybe on USB 3.0 it will work fine) Hardware specification: AsRock Taiche XE x299 i9 7920x RX 580 970 EVO 1 TB I guess it is DSDT tune problem, so I send you file from RunMe.app Send-me-MBP15.zip

denisgrusz Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Thank you MaLd0n for the file. I think I do something wrong. I put your DSDT.ami file in EFI (mount) --> EFI --> CLOVER --> ACPI --> patched but everything still not working. I read about 20 pages of this threat, but can't find any tip. Can you tell me how to patch this DSDT file ? Maybe there is some youtube tutorial (i try to search on my own, find, but unfortuletly on video, guys change file in "origin" folder, but my "origin" folder is empty or maybe you can send me whole "CLOVER" folder ? I'm sorry for my poor knowledge in this matter, but on my defense I will remind that this is my first hackintosh. Thanks for your help! I promise I don't forget buy you a beer

denisgrusz Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 onemanosx i define it in my first post USB 3.0, WIFI (info: there is no wifi card install), Bluetooth (Not available), sleep mode don't work property (I can't wake up computer), USB-C not working MaLd0n I used yours clover for serie x299 and paste DSDT ... I do it on EFI partition, and on MacOS SSD drive in folder EFI (path I show on screenshot). I also try to patch DSDT as you show on this video ... "> I download MaciASL software to open DSDT.ami as you do, but no luck. File don't want to open with this software I must doing something wrong Sorry for being such a noob
denisgrusz Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 OK. I have read a lot of post on this forum, and I think maybe I don't reboot after put your x299 CLOVER folder, and immediately start RunMe.app and send to you. Maybe we should try again ? What I have done this time: - Instal Fresh Clover EFI v2.4k r4844 - Put your x299 CLOVER folder on both partition (EFI and MacOS) - please tell me ... where I exactly should put it ? - Reboot - Start RunMe.app - Send you SEND ME file Also I mention I download a "Clover Configuration", and I don't know why i cannot mount EFI partition (so if I will need to paste your DSDT.aml file to EFI partition I can't) to see EFI partition I must install once again "Clover EFI v2.4k r4844". Also I attach photo from Clover ACPI patching menu (maybe there is some issue?) Thanks! and sorry for post by post. Send-me-MBP15.zip

denisgrusz Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 MaLd0n I got to work USB 3.0 (thanks for link to tutorial), with wake on sleep is strange ... because once it's working, once not. I must check on windows if there is the same problem ... Also WIFI after patching still don't working. I don't really need this ... but it will be nice to have it. Any idea where may be a problem ?
