Hackintosh Guide - Sierra / High Sierra / Mojave / Catalina / BigSur on Serie 100/200/300/400 with Clover Bootloader

Apparently, HDMI will work OK and I've booted into it without adding any kexts by taking the board ID from iMac14,2 and dropping that into the existing 18,3 SMBIOS (10.13.5)

I needed WhateverGreen and IntelGraphicsFixup to use HDMI before.

Now to try doing that with 10.13.6 :)

I will let you know if that works

Cheers

Last time I tried 18,1 was back on 10.13.4 on internal gfx on the H270.

It fixed the flickery gfx after that update. It shows up as 21" 5k Retina 2017.

I swapped out serial with the one I was using on 18,3 and it then showed up as 27" 5k Retina 2017 and still fixed the flicker :)

You mean in display preferences?

HDMI display is working fine on the RX560 and I'm still only running AppleALC, FakeSMC, Lilu, IntelMausiEthernet, and USBInjectAll.

Very cool with that!

Power management base frequecy is 0.80 (same as Z370).

Last time I used iMac18,1 the CPU base frequency went up to 1.20 and geekbench also went up by around 400 so it made the i7 run with a little overclock.

I might need to use that to boot connected to HDMI if I put the native iMac18,3 board ID back in :)

What version of Lilu goes best with that?

The thing I really like about the Force RGB script is that the guy did it as a hack for real macs connected to non Apple displays.

It works really well!

Lilu 1.2.4 and WhateverGreen 1.2.0

Now WhateverGreen.kext is merged, work for AMD, NVIDIA, INTEL AND SHIKI
