Post install update to Tahoe 26.6 boots to full color login screen and then to a white screen with small menubar showing input devices and date/time, but does not progress to desktop.

Mouse functions with white screen for drop down input devices menu, but only a hollow sounding tone with keyboard/keypress.

Both Clover 5170 with FakeSMC and Open Core 1.0.8 boot with same result.

HP laptop with 520 graphics spoofed to 620, updated Lilu and WhateverGreen.

booting with kernel flags: -v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 -igfxsklaskbl -disablegfxfirmware dart=0 xcpm_bootstrap -wegnoegpu

Sonoma and Sequoia updated and booted to desktop without  incident.

Do 26.6 and/or 26.6.1 have changes to graphics detection and/or driver initialization?

Could this be a settings/driver/system configuration cache issue?

Has anyone encountered a similar problem with a fix?
