Hey @MaLd0n,

Sorry for reviving an old thread.

I have an Asus Maximus X (Wi-Fi). Can you please help me patch it?

I'm also adding my config.plist. I'd appreciate if you can help me tweak it too.

I've replaced the built in wireless card with a Dell DW1506 and it works flawlessly with Continuity and Handoff.

Also, as iPB asked, if I'd like to try and patch the DSDT on my own, where can I found a relevant patch depository. Seems it's all outdated and I'm not sure what to use.

Thank you!

Thank you!

I can boot with the DSDT (Although I don't see any difference between having it or not, I'm sure it better to have it than not), however, I turned on Intel Virtualization Technology in BIOS in order to be able to use VMware Fusion and I can't boot. Getting the no entrance sign.

After tinkering for a couple of hours, trying different settings (Fix Headers, dropping MATS, enabling and disabling dart=0 etc.) the only thing that got me to boot was removing the DSDT.

What can I do to be able to use bot Intel Virtualization Technology and DSDT?

Hey [ref]MaLd0n[/ref],

I wonder if you can help me again. I've switched from NVIDIA to AMD (Sapphire RX VEGA 64 nitro+).

Can you please edit my attached DSDT to reflect that?

I can only get full acceleration and 30 bit color if I remove the DSDT which leads me to believe it's the culprit. Also, if it's no trouble, can you also add the correct framebuffer?

So why can't I boot with it?

The apple progress bar just hangs and it doesn't reach the finder.

I'll boot verbose, and see where it hangs.

Btw, it works perfectly without both the DSDT and the SSDT. In fact, it gave me another speed step (9, compared to 8 with SSDT).

If it works great without DSDT and SSDT, do I still need them for some reason I can't see?

Thanks for your help! :D

OK, so this is weird:

I couldn't load Mojave with the perfectly working DSDT that you so graciously patched for me (AKA: DSDT-Original.aml) the worked great on High Sierra.

I downloaded a DSDT you edited for ASUS Maximus Code and it worked perfectly. (AKA: DSDT.aml).

Can you please tell me why and is it safe to use?
