Dark0Hunter Posted yesterday at 04:11 AM Posted yesterday at 04:11 AM Hi everyone and @MaLd0n, I am currently running macOS Tahoe on my Dell Vostro 3681 and facing a few stubborn issues that I cannot seem to fix after days of troubleshooting. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Hardware Specifications: PC Model: Dell Vostro 3681 Desktop,i3-10100,UHD 630 Audio Codec: Realtek ALC3246 (ALC256) Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Card: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 macOS Version: macOS 26.3 Tahoe Bootloader: OpenCore Here is the detailed breakdown of the 3 main issues I am experiencing: 1. Audio Not Working (ALC3246 / ALC256) I have absolutely no sound output, no devices found in System Settings. Here is what I have tried so far: AppleALC: Tried injecting alcid=11, 13, 21, 28, and 5 via boot-args. None of them worked. IRQ Conflicts: Used SSDTTime to dump DSDT and applied FixHPET (added SSDT-HPET.aml and OC patches). IORegistry: The system does see HDEF@1F,3, but there is absolutely no AppleHDAController attached underneath it. HDAUniversal (Tahoe Fix): Since Tahoe dropped AppleHDA, I completely removed AppleALC from my config, disabled FileVault, and installed HDAUniversal.pkg to /Library/Extensions/. I successfully allowed it in Privacy & Security and added amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1. However, running the Codec-Info app still reports: "No supported analog audio stack detected loaded". 2. Bluetooth Completely Dead While I am setting up the system, Bluetooth refuses to work. It does not detect any devices, cannot be toggled properly, and seems to be missing from the USB mapping or completely ignored by the OS. 3. Restart/Reboot Fails (Hangs) Shutdown: Works perfectly. The machine powers off normally. Restart: Fails every time. When I choose Restart, macOS goes through the closing process, the screen turns black, but the PC itself stays powered on (fans keep spinning). It never loops back to the BIOS/OpenCore screen. I am forced to hold the physical power button to hard reset. I have attached my current EFI folder and a saved IORegistry file below for your review. Thank you in advance for your time and support!
