HPinES Tech Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Hello, I'm trying to install OS X 10.12 on an Intel Pentium N3710 processor with Braswell architecture. Unfortunately, I tried faking the CPU ID to 0306A0 and using -igfxvesa boot arg, but it resulted in a Kernel Panic after the logs line in Opencore Logs: OCSMC: SmcReadValue Key 4D535463 Size 1 OCSMC: SmcReadValue Key 4D534163 Size 2 I initially thought the problem was with the USB drive since the driver was XHCI instead of EHCI, but I also tried putting com.apple.recovery.boot on a FAT32 partition on Hard Disk but still got the same Kernel Panic! I created this topic to ask for help with this problem! Thank you!

HPinES Tech Posted May 5 Author Posted May 5 Yes, I know, I'm just booting to test macOS. And is there any other way to boot macOS? (I'm willing to lose Graphics Acceleration)

HPinES Tech Posted May 5 Author Posted May 5 But I'm asking why there's a Kernel Panic? Is there a way to boot successfully? (I just need to boot, not experience it)
