Its DJKing Posted Sunday at 05:43 PM Posted Sunday at 05:43 PM System Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Motherboard: Gigabyte X570S Aorus Elite AX GPU: Sapphire RX 570 RAM: 16GB G.Skill Aegis 3200MHz Audio Codec: Realtek ALC1220 Ethernet: Realtek RTL8125 macOS Version: Sonoma Bootloader: OpenCore SMBIOS: iMacPro1,1 UAD Device: UAD-2 Solo PCIe --- Problem: macOS installs and boots normally when the UAD card is not installed. When I install the UAD-2 Solo PCIe card, macOS kernel panics during boot. The panic backtrace shows: com.uaudio.driver.UAD2System UAD2System::_ZN27com_uaudio_driver_UAD2Pcie220_configurePciDeviceEv This appears to happen during PCIe device configuration for the UAD card. --- What I Tested: - macOS boots normally without UAD card - Kernel panic occurs only when UAD card is installed - Tried forcing PCIe slot to GEN3 - Tried different PCIe slots - Above 4G Decoding Disabled - Resize BAR Disabled - SMBIOS set to iMacPro1,1 Windows also shows instability when the UAD card is installed. --- Question: Has anyone successfully used UAD-2 Solo PCIe on AMD Ryzen (X570 chipset)? Is there any required PCIe patch, device property, or BIOS configuration needed to prevent this kernel panic? EFI folder and panic screenshot attached. EFI.zip 1
Mohamedsyabaty Posted Monday at 12:48 PM Posted Monday at 12:48 PM Seems a UAD driver problem. Report it.
