goolpone
Hi guys, I've just installed El Capitan on my laptop, and without much modification works all quite well. One big miss is the embedded webcam support: - In Camera is not reported any camera - In USB I can see all the 6 USB 1.0 hubs and the 2 USB 2.0 hubs, with connected mouse and fingerprint sensor, but I cannot see any camera device. Since I know that the camera is an UVC one, I would like to see at least the device. I also know that with El Capitan is changed the EHCI management, but I am a newby in this field. Could someone help me on this problem? Thank you Edited July 12, 2016 by Guest

goolpone
Thank you for the help! The problem is near to be solved.. On my PC I have 3 usb 2 on the left (A, B) 1 on the right (C with the mouse) - With the previously posted vanilla DSDT I had the following configuration: It find the mouse ©, the two external drive connected to (A) and (B), and the fingerprint sensor (internal) - With the one @artur-pt posted to me: I can see the internal webcam and it works great, but ports (B) and © doesn't works, the fingerprint sensor is not seen I've also tried a couple of combination, just to test: - 1st tentative: in DSDT defined: EHC1 and USBE (instead of EHC2), the result is the following: Same behavior of the @artur-pt DSDT with the fingerprint sensor - 2nd tentative: in DSDT defined: EUSB (instead of EHC1) and ECH2, the result is the following: Same behavior of the vanilla DSDT but without the fingerprint sensor It seems like there is a shared resource, could someone help one more time? Thanks!
goolpone
I've just solved following this guide, other than using the DSDT posted here by @artur-pt: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306777-guide-usb-fix-el-capitan-1011/ It was only a bad USB 2.0 indexing. Now all ports and devices works correctly! Thank you again for the support! Regards.
