inter Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 On my laptop ASUS VivoBook Pro 17 ,I followed this instruction and I used Kernel_Debug_Kit_26_build_25A353.dmg : The sound is working good at the OpenCore and Clover .Maybe is necessary fresh install of the Tahoe OS .Probably corrupted file on the Tahoe . 2
Eggzin Posted November 4, 2025 Posted November 4, 2025 Same to me, after installing the KDK on my Mac tahoe 26.0 version, finish install restart n load for a while and give black page and stays like that. Maybe I'm using wrong KDK coz it version 26.1 KDK, I don't understand what's causing it to fail.

Joeytic Posted November 4, 2025 Posted November 4, 2025 I tried doing the steps downloading the latest versions of everything for Tahoe 26.0.1 and I use iMac smbios not Mac Pro it gave me a black screen after reseting the nvram and trying multiple times it only shows the cursor and keeps loading with a black screen
Ludovic Vienne Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Does not work with the latest version 26.1 build 25B78
adv_j Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Successfully upgraded to 26.1 and installed KDK from 26.0. Now the system is loaded only in safe mode (-x). No application is running. The system says that the launch is not possible because the system is 26.0 and the application is for 26.1. What should I do? Where can I get at least a terminal for 26.0?
Ludovic Vienne Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 I have this message An error occurred during installation: XPC error: Couldn’t communicate with a helper application. Capture d’écran 2025-11-12 à 08.55.26.zip

You have the wrong kdk version check to make sure you have same version as your version of Tahoe it should be 26,1.
