On my ASUS VivoBook 705UDR , on Tahoe Beta 8 all are OK , except the sound ALC 256.

I followed this instruction :

The Mykextinstaller have  error to install the AppleHDA.Kext  I used SimplyLoader .The kext was successfully installed.

At OC  I used layout-id  22 (alcid=22) ,because on the Sequoia the sound it OK by this id  .The Sequoia is working very good .On the Tahoe I used AppleHDA.kext from Sequoia  and the kext downloaded from your link ,I tested in both situation same problem no sound .

I observed on the Asus F515JA with i7-1065G7 has a same sound card ALC256 .

Please advice haw to solve the sound on my laptop .Also the video is Intel UHD 620 ,DSDT full patched .

Clover USB Boot Manager (5163 ) freezes at drive selection Tahoe Beta 9 .Not even a black screen, just frozen with the partition still selected.  All are last version Clover , kext  ...etc. 

On the OC all are OK , same disk Tahoe Beta 9.

Does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting?

I passed this step ,freezing from Clover to boot disk , but now after  few seconds I  have KP .

Yes Asus VivoBook Pro 17 N705UD , and I used  "NOTEBOOKS CHIPSET SERIES 10, 20 Download HERE (SKYLAKE / KABYLAKE) " only I replace my DSDT full patched .I removed same kexts are not compatible with my laptop and I add  the new kexts compatible with my laptop .The new kexts are running on the  OC  no error .

I like Clover because I use the Win 11 on board of vessel , and now during testing Tahoe  I broken 2 times the EFi win 11 .

Many software on board of vessel are not compatible by MacOS , only are running on the Windows  7/8/9/10/11.On board of vessel I have not Internet connection high speed ,only messages by satellite internet connection and is difficult to repair the broken partition .Til now the Mojave , Catalina , Ventura ,Sonoma ,Sequaia was OK in dual boot ,but now by  Tahoe start the problems , probably  on the Tahoe have many  updates  I will se after few months .

Use efi folder and dont add ur dsdt full. If error still there try to add last cputscsync.

Now is running , except Keyboard light (on the Sistem  Settings-keyboard   the light can be adjusted but no light on the keyboard ), I used SSDT ATK-KABY. 

Also Fn+F1  (sleep ) ,Fn+F2 Plane mode , Fn+(F3+F4) Keyboard light +/-  are not running . 

Fn+(F5-F6) Brightness , Fn+F7 OFF , Fn-F8 Mirroring , Fn+F9 Trackpad ,,Fn+F10+F11+F12  vol +/- ,OFF are OK .

I tried to patch SSDT , but unsuccessful.

I have the exact same laptop that you say is the best, but it freezes after 4-5 hours of use and I swapped the efi from the use to the system but it didn't let me boot without the usb? I am daulbooting Win11 and Tahoe. Could you please give me any suggestions for these two issues? Thanks

My macOS Sequoia efi works perfectly fine like almost close to perfection on my lenovo t14 gen 1 the only issue im having is with macOS tahoe 

first off after my laptop goes to sleep and wakes up, its really really laggy

secondly the hdmi port with my usb c hub doesnt work like it doesnt show anything on the display but its detecting the display, my main hdmi on the laptop works fine though

3rd my laptop also lags when i connect it to the hdmi cable and extend and it continues to lag after i remove the hdmi cable and use it as a laptop

i also got the tahoe folder from olarilla

Yea the EFI, but its mostly the config.plist fault too, but cant be too sure so yea its my tahoe config which has these small issues
