Staubtuch16 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Hi, I'm helping a friend set up his Hackintosh. We are using the latest version of OpenCore. My EFI works so far, and we were able to boot into macOS Recovery. When we are then in recovery, the message examining volumes comes up immediately. Nothing else happens. It gets stuck at some point. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? His specs: AMD Ryzen 5600x AMD Radeon RX 6700xt Gigabyte Aorus Elite B550 Ax V2 v1,5 ADATA Legend 960 SSD WD BLACK Hard Disks 32 GB DDR4 RAM I had already uploaded a post on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/1jsem07/comment/mlr8udp/?context=3 (It was for a diffrent problem but it is mentioned in the comments)

Administrators MaLd0n Posted April 10 Administrators Posted April 10 Try EFI 011.zip -Delete old EFI folder and paste new then empty trash. Don't use merge files. -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead. -Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
