Hi I have the 775 High Sierra  from this site burnt to usb with Etcher for my UD3L mobo. with the 775 cpu.

When I get to the screen where the red apple logo is with the nvram option ,I clicjk the red apple it then goes through some code and then just restarts and same process all over again.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Hi troyboy77! Are you still interested in this issue?

Check your config.plist to make sure that settings like Boot Args and Device Properties are configured correctly. You can use OpenCore Configurator or Clover Configurator to edit this file.

Hi, thanks for answering my question, personally I think I need to review the settings

Hey! That reboot loop usually means there’s a compatibility or configuration issue. A few things you can check:

  1. BIOS settings – Make sure AHCI is enabled, and virtualization or VT-d is disabled.

  2. Boot flags – Try adding -v (verbose mode) to see exactly where it fails, or test with -x (safe mode).

  3. Graphics – If your GPU isn’t supported natively, you might need to use nv_disable=1 or inject the right drivers.

  4. NVRAM reset – Clear CMOS or reset NVRAM in Clover/OpenCore if that’s an option.

If you share your full hardware details (CPU, GPU, and BIOS version), I can help narrow it down further.
