Hi at all,

At the first reboot after Lion installation (on my existing SL 10.6.8 partition), my 6930G go in KP, the message:

"Mac OS Version

Not Yet Set

Kernel Version:

Darwin Kernel Version 11.1.0: Tue Jul...

System Uptime in nanoseconds: 980246880"

I have repaired permission and disk, but Nothing...

Any advice, help?

Install Lion to a clean partition, not on the Snow Leopard one.

If you still get KP, post a photo of the screen.

I created a USB stick by following the guide of Maldon.

When I rebooted from the USB (with no flags) system freeze:

Ok... Guys,

I've installed successfully Lion 10.7.1...

I used tonycrap method, xMove + multishit, because the USB stick and Dvd don't go...

For the moment goes well so.

You need to patch AppleRTC to fix CMOS reset after sleep.

The other problem may be related to cache. Did you enable UseKernelCache? Are PS2 kexts in /S/L/E or /E/E?

If you have an Extensions.mkext file in /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup, you have to update it manually when you install or remove kexts.

I'm sorry, but unfortunately I have to work for a living ... So ...

This is the procedure I followed after several months of tests and sleepless nights and the help of great team Olarila... :D

You must install Lion with unishit, following the guide of tonycrapx86.com.

At the end of the creation of the USB key, you must copy some kext in it, exactly:

in E/E: AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext & ApplePS2Controller.kext

can be found here:

http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=1448

in S/L/E: AppleACPIPlatform.kext; IO80211Family.kext; IOPCIFamily.kext.

IO80211Family.kext & AppleACPIPlatform.kext, from SL 10.6.8.

IOPCIFamily.kext, you must have a version of "specific" for your laptop, so to have functioning wi-fi, network, usb etc ...

I followed this forum and I found a IOPCIFamily working for my NB, here:

Fact this, it would be better that you had already compiled DSDT and operating at 99%. If you copy it into the Extras folder.

Get a USB keyboard, just for the installation ...

Boot from USB key, with the flag -x ...
