paaguti
Hi folks, I'm nearly there... I downloaded and transfered the 10.9.5 USB Installer with Clover. To kix screen, etc. I used the config.plist from https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config.git that fits my slekbook best. I get to the install screen but I don't have keyboard. Any ideas? paaguti
Hi, I have the original 10.9.5 installer image I got through the forum and it seems to have the Voodoo keyboard extensions: paag@HP-Sleekbook:~$ ls /mnt/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.9/ AHCIPortInjector.kext GenericUSBXHCI.kext VoodooPS2Mouse.kext AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext Disabler.kext VoodooPS2Controller.kext FakeSMC.kext VoodooPS2Keyboard.kext I have read somewhere that the HP's need a special config.plist for Voodoo. Someone aware of that?

paaguti
Hi, thanks for the advice. First try: Remove ApplePS2* and Voodoo* from EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.9 and install recommended VoodooPS2 there. Boot with injected kexts and no cache... still waiting for Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. however, mouse pointer appears and can be moved with the trackpad... I didn't install the Daemon nor the launcher, though

paaguti
Hi, Sorry if I didn't write a clearer description... I achieve two things: the pointer responds but then the screen shows the bluetooth mouse and keyboards and how you have to switch them on. It seems to get stuck waiting for the keyboard. I have tested and I do have keyboard in single user mode. Should I try to remove the VoodooPS2 kext from EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.9 and install it on S/L/E on the USB stick, including the daemon? Thanks for bearing with me

paaguti
Thanks a ton! That was the clue! I have Mavericks installed and running. Now I have to find the drivers for my USB WiFi, then the DSDT for the power button, the sound, etc. But at least I can start managing my iPods again
paaguti
Sent from the Mavericks with USB WIFI dongle This is gorgeous. The only thing is that sometimes the Bluetooth assistant wakes up saying that there is no keyboard. Just a minor nuisance, though. Thanks folks! paaguti
A couple of days enjoying Mavericks on my Sleekbook and I'm not able to make a complete shutdown or reset. Anyone can help there? How can I do that through Clover? BTW, my method of installing Ubuntu (w UEFI support) first and then Mavericks, copying CLOVER from the USB to the UEFI partition makes modifying the Clover config quite easy.
