Gigabard Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 i am on 10.9.0 and am trying to update to 10.9.3. i used niresh amd mavericks for install with amdfx flag and all is good. once installed i clean niresh files)the ones i could find(and install latest chameleon and edit my plists. i end up with very good instal. now when i update(tried 10.9.3 full thats useless it boot but stutter) to 10.9.3 it is good but hdd is always active and no prig will open and everything is just very slow and stuuttery. what have i done wrong? please help. amdfx 8150 nvidia gtx660ti gigabyte md rev4 ga-970a-d3 16gbmem 120gbssd 2tbsata hdd 1tb hddsata thankyou for any help. i have updated to 10.9.1 from download, that went well, no replacement of anything. i then have updated 10.9.1 to 10.9.2 from download and it wiped out kernel, np, replace kernel and the two kexts that came with it, reboot, perfect. then try to do the app store update or download and both wipe out kernel, np, replace and replace the three kexts that came with it. reboot and is fine all seems well, then STUTTERING. i have made vanilla install of 10.9.3 installed fine, booted fine, STUTTERING. one last point, i have backed up my entire kext folder and i just copy paste that to the install(from my working 10.9.0) and repair perms. i have never been able to log into iCloud. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> EthernetBuiltIn Yes GUI No Graphics Mode 1920x1200x32 IGPEnabler y Kernel Flags npci=0x2000 cpus=1 dart=0 Quiet Boot Yes SystemType 3 USBBusFix Yes device-properties 4b00000001000000010000003f0000000100000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000090101060000007fff0400160000006200750069006c0074002d0069006e0000000500000001 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> SMbiosversion iMac13,1 SMboardproduct Mac-00BE6ED71E35EB86 SMfamily iMac SMproductname iMac13,1 SMserial C02MGDUIDNCR i also got a phantom disk listed when i use kext wizard to repair perm's choose destination disk it lists a disk not inserted anymore. how to remove that reference? thasnks, been posting this everywhere but no one will help me, like snobs or something, if its to trivial sorry for my ignorance and please help me.
