startrax
Thank you for replying.I have been trying for a long time to make dsdt edit for alc888.Having a patch for the audio would be better than the generic voodoo kext since it kernel panics sometimes during loading and little crackle. It has been kernel panicing since 10.8.0 and still does on 10.9.1.There are various patches and i have tried many times. The problem i run into is always errors and will not compile.Every patch i try to compile errors using dsdt editor or MaciASL. startrax
I tried the edited DSDT file.It solved my kernel panic. The alc888 controller is detected now along with a patched AppleHDA for layout-id 0C 00 00 00.The only problem is i get no sound internal speakers or through headphone jack.
