8 core battery, polymer battery, 8400mAh

After installing Mavericks I don't know what I have to set on multishit, I tried some settings but the computer goes very slow or sometimes it completly freeze. now I reinstalled mavericks, I would like to know how to set it to best please answer me as soon as possible

You say it freezes? Does it make it to desktop or just Apple logo?. If its Apple logo, boot with -v and post to the forum the last thing it tries to load.
