Mirone Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Try this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/l3py8c install AppleHDA+DSDT. repair permissions rebuild caches.
BareBoneBoy Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Try this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/l3py8cinstall AppleHDA+DSDT. repair permissions rebuild caches. This nearly works, But there is problems after reboot, sound stops working after 20 minutes or so.. Internal speakers showing as disconnected.. After reboot and repair permissions still does not work. I have to reinstall applehda and repair permissions then reboot. Could the following info help optimise the kext a little more - Verbs.txt https://www.dropbox.com/s/u86by5n4096gxz9/verbs.txt Verbs from Linux Codec Dump File: codec_dump.txt Codec: Realtek ALC892 Address: 0 DevID: 283904146 (0x10ec0892) Jack Color Description Node PinDefault Original Verbs -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1/8 Black Speaker at Ext Rear 17 0x11 0x411111f0 01171cf0 01171d11 01171e11 01171f41 ATAPI Unknown Mic at Int ATAPI 18 0x12 0x99a30940 01271c40 01271d09 01271ea3 01271f99 HP Out at Ext Rear 0x14 0x14 18945055 01471c1f 01471d14 01471e21 01471f01 1/8 Black Speaker at Ext Rear 21 0x15 0x411111f0 01571cf0 01571d11 01571e11 01571f41 1/8 Black Speaker at Ext Rear 22 0x16 0x411111f0 01671cf0 01671d11 01671e11 01671f41 1/8 Black Line Out at Ext Rear 23 0x17 0x01011050 01771c50 01771d10 01771e01 01771f01 Mic at Ext Rear 0x18 0x18 27334704 01871c30 01871d18 01871ea1 01871f01 1/8 Black Speaker at Ext Rear 25 0x19 0x411111f0 01971cf0 01971d11 01971e11 01971f41 Line In at Ext Rear 0x1a 0x1a 25235519 01a71c3f 01a71d10 01a71e81 01a71f01 Speaker at Int ATAPI 0x1b 0x1b 2568159504 01b71c10 01b71d01 01b71e13 01b71f99 1/8 Black Speaker at Ext Rear 28 0x1c 0x411111f0 01c71cf0 01c71d11 01c71e11 01c71f41 ATAPI Unknown Line In at Int ATAPI 29 0x1d 0x598301f0 01d71cf0 01d71d01 01d71e83 01d71f59 Optical Black SPDIF Out at Ext Rear 30 0x1e 0x01451120 01e71c20 01e71d11 01e71e45 01e71f01 1/8 Black Speaker at Ext Rear 31 0x1f 0x411111f0 01f71cf0 01f71d11 01f71e11 01f71f41 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jack Color Description Node PinDefault Modified Verbs -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ATAPI Unknown Mic at Int ATAPI 18 0x12 0x99a30940 01271c40 01271d00 01271ea3 01271f90 HP Out at Ext Rear 0x14 0x14 18945055 01471c10 01471d10 01471e21 01471f01 1/8 Black Line Out at Ext Rear 23 0x17 0x01011050 01771c50 01771d10 01771e01 01771f01 Mic at Ext Rear 0x18 0x18 27334704 01871c30 01871d10 01871ea1 01871f01 Line In at Ext Rear 0x1a 0x1a 25235519 01a71c60 01a71d10 01a71e81 01a71f01 Speaker at Int ATAPI 0x1b 0x1b 2568159504 01b71c70 01b71d00 01b71e13 01b71f90 ATAPI Unknown Line In at Int ATAPI 29 0x1d 0x598301f0 01d71cf0 01d71d00 01d71e83 01d71f50 Optical Black SPDIF Out at Ext Rear 30 0x1e 0x01451120 01e71c20 01e71d10 01e71e45 01e71f01 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is my codec_dump_dec.txt - https://www.dropbox.com/s/bgllwal90m...c_dump_dec.txt Here is my svgdump https://www.dropbox.com/s/r6gwiz9emvv5rmg/svgdump.jpg
Mirone Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 try this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/w486f8 delete flag npci=0x2000/3000 in your boot.plist.
BareBoneBoy Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 try this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/w486f8delete flag npci=0x2000/3000 in your boot.plist. Mirone "You are the Man" this works great, sound is excellent and auto detect headphones is working great too.. In built microphone works but quality is not very good, this is the same in windows and i think it is because the manufacturer decided to install a cheap microphone. May I ask what you did to my dsdt ? Sleep is now working where as before it didn't I will be now writing up a guide on how to install mavericks on a Medion X6823 that I will share on this site and on insanely mac. Once again thanks for you help. All I need now is to get hd4000 hdmi audio working.. Any tips ? At the moment I am booting with clover config with the following settings - <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>DualLink</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>Intel</key> <true/> <key>NVidia</key> <false/> </dict> <key>ig-platform-id</key> <string>0x01660003</string> </dict>
Mirone Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 try this:DSDT.aml.zip delete this: <key>ig-platform-id</key> <string>0x01660003</string>
BareBoneBoy Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Thanks Mirone, all is now working apart from no sound after sleep.. I have also enabled hdmi audio by patching AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext for my frame buffer.. Thankyou and if you know of a fix for no sound after sleep then please let me know... Thanks again
