Hello

Thanks to Arthur_pt, he correct my dsdt (I still remerciment the way)

But here once set up right I have a nice black screen.

I tried with DualLink, same thing (Patch DSDT)

I is not a single graphics card,

- HD3000 Processor i5 2520M

I even generated a new SSDT.aml with ssdtPrGen but without success

Finally I tried to do everything I could find as a solution all over the web

hello

what are u saying ?

u have a sandy bridge cpu with hd 3000 .. and it no works ..

if u don't have native resolution bigger then 1366x768 .. u don't need dualink patch..

if u have this mobo u can try this

# For Sandy Bridge CPU on 7-series board

into device label IMEI parent_label PCI0 remove_entry;
into device label PCI0 insert
begin
Device (IMEI)\n
{\n
   Name (_ADR, 0x00160000)\n
   Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized)\n
   {\n
       If (LEqual (Arg2, Zero)) { Return (Buffer() { 0x03 } ) }\n
       Return (Package()\n
       {\n
           "device-id", Buffer() { 0x3A, 0x1C, 0x00, 0x00 },\n
           "name", "pci8086,1c3a",\n
       })\n
   }\n
}\n
end

and this

into method label _DSM parent_adr 0x00020000 remove_entry;
into device name_adr 0x00020000 insert
begin
Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized)\n
{\n
   If (LEqual (Arg2, Zero)) { Return (Buffer() { 0x03 } ) }\n
   Return (Package()\n
   {\n
       "AAPL,snb-platform-id", Buffer() { 0x00, 0x00, 0x01, 0x00 },\n
       "hda-gfx", Buffer() { "onboard-1" },\n
   })\n
}\n
end

and post full specs of u hardware

update in profile.. signature

re,

If I understand I put this in my dsdt

into method label _DSM parent_adr 0x00020000 remove_entry;

into device name_adr 0x00020000 insert

begin

Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized)\n

{\n

If (LEqual (Arg2, Zero)) { Return (Buffer() { 0x03 } ) }\n

Return (Package()\n

{\n

"AAPL,snb-platform-id", Buffer() { 0x00, 0x00, 0x01, 0x00 },\n

"hda-gfx", Buffer() { "onboard-1" },\n

})\n

}\n

end

and this in my ssdt.aml

# For Sandy Bridge CPU on 7-series board

into device label IMEI parent_label PCI0 remove_entry;

into device label PCI0 insert

begin

Device (IMEI)\n

{\n

Name (_ADR, 0x00160000)\n

Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized)\n

{\n

If (LEqual (Arg2, Zero)) { Return (Buffer() { 0x03 } ) }\n

Return (Package()\n

{\n

"device-id", Buffer() { 0x3A, 0x1C, 0x00, 0x00 },\n

"name", "pci8086,1c3a",\n

})\n

}\n

}\n

end

I replace this:

pci8086,1c3a

By my ID ?

Good evening

I found the problem or had

My dsdt I injected this:

}
                            "AAPL00, DualLink"
                            Buffer (0x04)
              {

And it is because of this that I had a black screen.

I followed what you told me Arthur_pt, it seems to work, thank you
