brandonh
I installed clover_v2k_r2428, after reboot, I can see one more boot option "Mac OS X." But no matter which one I chose, it always says "Missing Operating System." MB: ASRock H67M-ITX, UEFI bios v2.20, patched CPU: intel core i5-2400 NVidia GT 630 OS: Mavericks 10.9.1 raw USB from Olarila disk: only one, WD 320G 2.5" HDD, GPT now I can only boot Mavericks from usb installer. What can I do to fix the boot issue? Edited January 3, 2014 by Guest Someday I'm gonna buy a real Mac if I won the lottery!

brandonh
Thanks a lot! I successfully boot into my Mavericks hdd by following the instructions at the following link. http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3405&p=33648#p33648 Just copy the EFI folder from Pendrive's EFI partition to my hdd's EFI partition. Reboot. In Clover menu, go to Clover Boot Options(the one for SATA) and select Add as UEFI boot option. I wonder why the Clover UEFI Guide never mentioned that? http://cloverboot.weebly.com/install-clover-to-usbhdd.html Configuration aside, I thought installing Clover would be as easy as installing a pkg. m.gbt
It has also took me some time to set that up and my problem was solved with your solution. Just wanted to say it here to encourage future users with the same problem Mavericks 10.9.2 Retail When you ask for support, remember to tell the bootloader you use
