Some Basic Information

-Use USB2 port for easy installation with no remap USB

-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files

-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead

-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen

 

Bios/UEFI Configuration

-Sata = AHCI mode

-Secure Boot = Disable if need

-CSM = Disable with AMD cards

-If you have only IGPU use -igfxvesa bootarg for easy installation

Are these EFI folders specific to the MoBo or the CPU?  As I am using a Z590, but with a Comet Lake CPU, so what configuration would I choose?

use comet lake efi folder. u can remove fakecpuid

Is this same for OpenCore and Clover?  As I was hoping to use Clover
