SysAdminPgh Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 Could you please check my system out and see where I've gone wrong. It is so slow that it sometimes takes 2 minutes from clicking on a program till it runs. Downloads for the Apple store don't install. I have Big Sur on another SSD and no problems there. Send me iMac-Pro.fios-router.home.zip Thanks!

SysAdminPgh Posted April 12, 2022 Author Posted April 12, 2022 Looks like I'm on 12.3.1Screen Shot 2022-04-11 at 10.30.24 PM.zip
SysAdminPgh Posted April 15, 2022 Author Posted April 15, 2022 Gave up and redid from the very start. Still running super slow. It's almost as if someone else is running stuff in the background. For example when I opened up a window for Applications it took a minute for each app icon to appear and it was one icon at a time. Any suggestions? Send me Loris-iMac.fios-router.home.zip

SysAdminPgh Posted April 15, 2022 Author Posted April 15, 2022 Why did I change? That the one that fits the CPU and the one I've used for years. Thanks! I'll work on those changes.
SysAdminPgh Posted April 16, 2022 Author Posted April 16, 2022 I went with iMacPro1,1 but having trouble with disable the IGPU part. In the BIOS there isn't a way to disable it. I can't find where to do it in config.plist. Can you point me in the right direction? Again thanks!
