Asus P8Z77 -v lk, DSDT or no DSDT

is anyone able to help on this please... I read somewhere that this motherboard does not need a DSDT patch as it is one of the newer UEFI type MoBo's, and am unable to find a patch in this sites DSDT library, however I cannot get my system to boot without using GraphicsEnabler=no and -x. It seems to get stuck on the Graphics Card part when booting in verbose mode, but I am unsure whether this would have anything to do with not having a DSDT patch.
