wifi not working, but installed

Hello!

I have: Lenovo G780 with Atheros wi-fi adapter

Have installed kext for wi-fi, I can view wifi networks around me, but when I try to join them, connection timedout. Here is error log:

atheros generally suported is 90xx until 9285..

yes, it is AR9285

and no, it never worked, I was working on getting Mac OS on my laptop for past 2 days - was able to get rid of all other issues, but this one stayed and couldn't find solution for it on google (tried with various kexts, modified DSDT, nothing worked).

I need Mac OS for development - will be getting into iOS app dev. soon.
