OK i understand. All set

BTW the PC is HP Elitedesk 800 G1, Haswell i5-4590 HD 4600, GT 720 2gb GPU.

Sole purpose of this machine is home video editing with Imovie and Final Cut Pro

BUT...

How do i address these Issues??

  • The Hackintosh suffers from random freezes (so bad that i need to force-shutdown, then restart)  especially when using Clover Configurator. The good thing, the freezes aren't too often..
  • The other issue: The machine will just go into sleep mode, and i cannot wake it using my remote desktop connection. All fans shut off, and the machine doesn't even appear to even be powered on. How do i fix this?
  • Lastly, my cousin just mailed me an RX 560 2gb, GPU INFO and should be here Monday.
  1. Should i install the 560 instead of the 720?
  2. And if using RX 560, should i just reinstall the OS/Olarila?
  3. And if so, should i use Monterey instead of the Big Sur that i am currently using?
  4. Does 720 or RX 560 even support HEVC codec?
