laudou Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Build: GIGABYTE B460M DS3H V2 (LGA 1200/+BX8070110100F Core i3-10100F 3,6 GHz I first installed Catalina with Clover on a SSD; the installation was complete and easy. Then I started installing Monterey with Clover on a second SSD. The installation started up normally. After a few minutes, I left the computer . When I got back to my computer about 15 minutes later, it had rebooted to the Bios. And every time I reboot the machine it always reboots to the bios. Th sata hard drives no longer show in the bios. The usb installer does show but it will not boot from the usb installer even if I select it in the boot menu. It always reverts to the bios. I removed the battery for one hour. Still the bios. I disconnected all the peripherals and the power cord, pressed the power button for more than one minute. Still the bios. What can I do? Did I kill the motherboard? Any help will be welcome. Thanks

laudou Posted January 21, 2022 Author Posted January 21, 2022 Hi Unbelievable. I used the Comet Lake Open Core usb installer and the boot menu displayed all the drives. I will install Open Core then but last time I installed it I have no audio working. That's why I first reverted to Catalina with Clover. Does it mean that Clover cannot be used to install Monterey on Comet Lake? Thanks
