Hi Guys,

 

Im looking at installing macos onto this laptop what build is going to be best and what settings should I use for clover been having issues booting in. issues with the cross saying still waiting for root device etc.

 

CPU: intel i7-8850h
RAM: 16gb DDR4
GPU: Intel® UHD Graphics 630 It also has a Quadro in it
SSD: 256gb m.2

 

Any help would be appreciated

use usb2 port with correct folder for ur hardware. if need use -igfxvesa

add flag uia_exclude=HS09;HS10;HS11;HS12;S13;HS14;USR1;USR2 and some usb3 ports start work

Ive managed to get it working any ideas re wifi?

 

 

Also The intel uhd 630 is only showing 7mb and screen flickers think it needs hardware acceleration any ideas?

So with Wifi I believe my wifi adapter isn't compatible however I have a usb dongle which works, just need to figure out gpu acceleration

 The version I installed was high sierra im trying monterey version but im getting stuck on levelcontrol->setvaluechangehandler ( &changevolumeh

Hey,

 

So im now running on os monterey I now have these 2 issues

1. intel uhd 630 gpu acceleration not working (7mb showing) I have intel i7-8850h coffee lake cpu

2. Audio issue, No audio from speakers mic works
