terraform
Hey, So I needed to swap out my Radeon VII for a RX 580. I now only have the RX 580 and am located in a part of the world where computer parts are hard to get (locally or shipped). I had hoped that I would be able to swap out the two cards without issue but after install and powering on I have never been able to get any signal from the RX 580 using any of the ports. I also tried to boot using a windows startup disk and the onboard graphics but still no signal. I have checked the cables and the monitors and that isn't the issue...Any suggestions on how to problem solve what is going on? I would have assumed maybe the card is dead but if that is the case then why no signal from the onboard gpu, and I am assuming it has nothing to do with the OpenCore as again I have detached the HD that OC is on and only have the Windows 10 drive plugged in. System Specs: i9900k 8 core CPU / z390 Gigabyte Designare / 64GB - DDR4 3600 Preditor RAM / RX 580 Sapphire Amor 8GB / EVO 860 1TB - Start up Drive OS / etc: OpenCore BigSur (can't remember the exactly which version)
