monterey success, high sierra miss, please help

Hey guys, the guide to install monterey worked flawlessly.

Sadly i chose wrong since i own pascal gpu, so i recreated the installer using the high sierra image with the same efi package wich worked for monterey.

Now the boot results in something like platform unsupported.

8700k on z370 chipset.

 

I hope someone can unstuck me..

change smbios to iMacPro1,1 or other with support on high sierra

That was it!

For everyone else:
smbios is basically an entry in a file in the efi folder u downloaded for the chipset, to be exact under /EFI/OC/config.plist wich seems proprietary but can be edited using "ProperTree" or "GenSMBIOS".

The actual entry can be provided by the friendly staff here.

enable xhci port limit patch or use usb 2 for now

u need remap ur usb

F, high sierra is only entry not provided with md5sum;

oh yikes im so sorry, even windows struggled with usb3 installs for quiet some time... its gettin late i guess..

 

it went through  i didnt port map on monterey since gpu wasnt working so that i still have to learn
